Artificial Intelligence and Tax Services

Greetings!

Many of my weekly emails begin with exciting or funny tidbits about me and a brief teaching lesson. I will forgo the education this week, but I want to give you some insight into AI or Artificial Intelligence and Tax Services. Is artificial intelligence taking over your job and then the world?Artificial Intelligence and Tax Services. Graphic of woman with megaphone announcing updates

I just began delving into AI to test their writing capabilities. I was surprised by the ease with which questions were answered insightfully.

Artificial Intelligence and Tax Services

So, I did a little test by asking the program this question,” Is AI taking over the tax world?”

The response was, “As an AI language model, I do not have the ability to understand humor or sarcasm, but it is safe to say that AI is not taking over the tax world entirely. While AI technology is becoming more prevalent in the tax industry,

it is still largely dependent on the expertise of human tax professionals to interpret and apply tax laws accurately.”

Does this read as if a robot or a human wrote it?

If you think it was me and not AI, then my job will be obsolete (do I hear retirement calling louder to me?), and I can spend my days doing more meaningful things, such as:

  • Becoming a wine taster or
  • determining the best mix-in for Titos. 🍸
  • Then again, the way to go may be to spend the morning in the yoga 🧘🏼‍♀️ studio, followed by a nap and a happy hour glass of wine. 🍷

A recent survey revealed that more and more people are open to the idea of incorporating AI into their daily lives. They do not mind AI taking over everyday tasks or being involved in decision-making processes.

For example;

  • Cashiers (63% of respondents), drivers (51%), and translators (42%) were named as the professions most likely to be taken over by AI technology.
  • About 25% of respondents also believe customer service representatives and warehouse workers are next in line.
  • More than 45% of people have a positive attitude toward AI taking control of the economy.

And drum roll, please….

Nearly 42% of people would have sex with a humanoid robot!!!

  • Yet only 39% believe they could have a romantic relationship with an AI. There is also a large discrepancy between genders.
  • Men are more open to the idea of sleeping with a robot (48%) and falling in love with an AI (43% of male respondents). ** What are these guys thinking?!?

This stat just blew me away.

When I confronted Jeff with this information, he thought for a moment and determined that the idea was reasonable. Then, he said, “Why not? A robot could be a substitute if a woman is not performing her wifely duties.” ** Seriously, Jeff?

So then, is this a step up from a blow-up sex toy?
